Company Information

Plaslope is a private owned company and has been managed and controlled by ITB Manufacturing PTY Ltd since 2010. Plaslope is located in Sebenza, Edenvale, close to the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Plaslope pioneered the manufacture and supply of Plastic Envelopes (both Selfseal and Heatseal) in Southern Africa.

Other products were soon developed, these include the Protectadoc® (self-adhesive waybill/document holder), Easy Slip-on School Exercise Book Covers, Courier Paks, Tamper Evident and Non-Tamper Evident Security Bags.

History

Plaslope (Pty) Ltd opened in 1981. The next year it commenced manufacturing plastic envelopes and it was not long before larger premises were required.

Additional products were now being produced, such as Courier Paks, Protectadocs®, and Easy Slip-on School Exercise Book Covers. In 1990, the manufacture of Tamper and Non-Tamper Evident Security Bags began.

Plaslope was awarded the International Trophy of Quality by the Editorial O.F.I.C.E. in Paris in 1995.

Further growth saw the company move to their own custom designed premises in 1998, still in Sebenza, Edenvale.

Plaslope strives to remain the market leader in innovative plastic mailing, couriering and security packaging, offering customers and the market the most current and up to date products.
