STEB's Security Tamper Evident Security Bag

STEB - Security Tamper Evident Security Bag

As part of the comprehensive overall airport security system, new restrictions have been set for the secure transport of LAG's (Liquids, Aerosols and Gels). These items are purchased by passengers from duty-free shops after passing through security or on board the aircraft and are then placed into a STEB for safe keeping.

Plaslope (Pty) Ltd is the first and currently only manufacturer of STEB's approved by ICAO in Africa.

Plaslope (Pty) Ltd complies with the specifications of a specially designed tamper evident security bag laid out by the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation).

Plaslope (Pty) Ltd submitted an application in November 2007 to SACAA (South African Civil Aviation Authority) to be registered as a 'Known STEB Manufacturer'. STEB's may only be manufactured and supplied by a 'Known STEB Manufacturer'.
